Fred G4VVQ Fuller Street near Chelmsford, England

First spoke with Fred in June of 2001. His QTH is small village of about 60 people called Fuller Street located 5 miles North East of Chelmsford in the County of Essex in England.  

Fred's HF station is a  a Yaesu FT-847, a Linear Amp UK, Challenger 3, Linear Amplifier and a Mosley TA-33, with WARC Dipole, Yagi Antenna, about 45ft from the ground on a wind up tower.

Fred has been a ham since 1983. Fred works as a Motor Engineer in a local garage and his other hobbies are Astronomy and 1960-1980 pop music.  Fred has 2 brothers one who is a ham G4WXT.
