I plan to paint mine, originally mint green, Calypso Coral as I like that colour and it has a very interesting ring to it. This will be my first attempt at a restoration, I hope to do everything but the body work and exterior paint keeping it mostly stock and original. Right now, I have a Group in Yahoo made up of Hams, and non Hams, but our interest is in Ham Radio and listening to it. I have proposed a debate, the Future of ham Radio , or Shortwave Radio is the broad topic, and as a Propolsition for the Affirmative, I have stated, Ham and Shortwave Radio is a continium, , it will alwaysbe here. On the Negative side, Shortwave, and ham are to be regualted to the dust bins of history, and new technologies will take their place.
I feel I know which side you will take, but it is always interesting to get the view of someone who is an innovator such as yourself.
